Jehovah’s witnesses make it a matter of public record when they adjust a scriptural understanding. Jehovah created us with the ability to think, to take in knowledge, to develop understanding, and to display wisdom. Understanding enables the person to relate the knowledge he acquires to god’s purpose and standards, and thereby he can assess or evaluate such knowledge.
