I have been working on a huge etl project with 150+ tables and during the design i had to make a major change on destination column names and data types for a couple of. In an ssis package that i'm writing, i have a csv file as a source. I am trying to create an ssis package to loop through files in the folder and get the path + filename and finally execute the stored proc with parameter as path+filename.
This one simple trick changed everything... 🌿🙏 healthywoman
Job is using an ssis package and is supposed to extract the data from database and and create an excel sheet.
6 ssis, and maintenance plans, were not intially supported in ssms 21.
Now i am not able to find the ssis toolbox in my visual. When i open my existing ssis project in design view i get the following error: The connection manager will not acquire a connection because the connection manager. I am running sql server 2014 on my machine.
Can someone tell me what the ssis package is all about? Have a pretty straight forward ssis package: I have a sql server job that runs monthly that runs in server. Despite it going to full release, they held back support for a later date.
Ole db source to get data via a view, (all string columns in db table nvarchar or nchar).
Execute an ssis package doesn't appear as an option when i go. On the connection manager general page, it has 65001 as the code page (i was testing something). Derived column to format existing date and add it on.
