My husband and i are going to be first time homesteaders and first time home buyers.just wondering what are the best places ( besides zillow ) to look for places. I used landwatch.com to find my property. Has anyone used landwatch to buy their homestead?

I would caution that i've also seen more than. I learned that many counties across the nation have tax sales/auctions. I'm in the stage where i currently homestead vicariously through this sub and other online resources, but www.landwatch.com seems to be a great site for land and such. Even if you don't trust it to find land, you can use it to locate the cheaper areas of each.
